Wine of the Month

Gamay

Some Info

Gamay is a French grape that is mostly grown in Beaujolais. When shopping for this wine, look for “Beaujolais” first. French wines are named after their location.

Some flavors you can expect are dark fruits like blackberry and pomegranate with a touch of earthiness. Gamay is a dry wine with light body and a good amount of acidity.

Pairings

Gamay is a very versatile wine. It pairs with meats as well as fish. We recommend trying this wine at Thanksgiving. This wine pairs great with turkey!
